My Rollei 35

This was my father's Rollei 35. We lost most of the accessories that he originally purchased with the camera, so I scoured the Internet to re-create the entire collection.

Here is a close-up of the camera, with the original leather case and carrying strap. It is the later German-made model with the Zeiss Tessar lens, manufactured in the late 1960s.

I found an original manual appropriate for the camera on eBay.

I am not sure if this mini-tripod is an original Rollei item, but my father kept it with the camera.

This mechanical Kopil Japanese self-timer is actually marketed for use with Polaroid cameras, but it was easily adjusted for use with the Rollei.

This is the packaging for an MR-9 battery adapter, and an original (albeit dead) PX625 mercury cell that was in the camera. The adapter downgrades the voltage of a 386 watch battery to 1.35 volts, which makes it compatible with the camera's light meter without modification. With the 386 installed, its shape is similar enough to the PX625 to fit correctly into the camera's battery compartment.

I purchased this Rollei 121BC flash off eBay. It came with the manual, styrofoam and sync cable.

This was the most difficult item to find, the original Honeywell flash bracket for the Rollei. It comes with the special sync adapter, which helps secure the bracket in place on the camera. I tried to purchase what was allegedly John Waller's last one, but it was apparently lost in customs or the mail. I finally managed to track one down that Manfred Schmidt had squirreled away, and gladly paid an outrageous sum for it.
